I've been pencil drawing since I was a young kid. I began a career as a graphic designer/illustrator after graduating from art school after high school. After working in the graphic design field for 16 years and after moving from my hometown of Pittsburgh, PA to California, I worked in technical publications production in the high-tech field for 18 years. I also taught drawing lessons to adults, teens, and school-age children while getting a teacher's credential in Art. After a Silicon Valley economic downturn in 2008, I switched gears, went back to school, and became licensed as an RDMS ultrasound tech in vascular, abdomen, and OB/gyn. After not having time to paint for 40 years, I'm now retired and enjoying my free time for volunteering and all my creative hobbies of quilting, sewing, painting landscapes and animals, and decorating my new house and yard!
